Ignited - Kaylea Cross

The only redeeming quality of this book is that at least it wasn't rage inducing.

Everything else, from the terrible writing to the execution of the story and even the thinly veiled racist overtones was atrocious. The relationship read so force and dialogue between the romantic couple was really uninspiring. I

couldn't connect to the story, it all read so cliché and incredibly predictable. There was also pacing issues and the author had a hard time keeping the momentum from the high stress situations she would write.

By 50% I was having a really hard time opening up this book and reading it, I would just shut it down and go do anything else in an effort to distract myself from it. It basically became a chore and that's upsetting because I wanted to like this book.
