I can't deny that Grace Draven has a fertile imagination and her world building is good. Her prose isn't too bad either but she ruminates too much, gives us little in terms of action and her romances read force sometimes instead of organic.
All of that being said, I think Draven has the right amount of pixas to pull off fantasy romance. I just wish she get an editor that would help her trim her sentences and keep her weaving a stronger plot to her romances. But overall this book is a huge improvement on her other work Master of Crows, which I DNF for it lost my attention. Entreat me, while tiresome is not forgettable as the her other work mentioned above.
I look forward to other works from this author because she writes in a genre where very few do.
