I can't actively continue to read and support a book where the main character cheats on her husband. Not even if the author says she was in a dead marriage, we barely get any evidence of it besides what Sorcha says.


She could have easily been left widow, but as she is still married and her husband is lying in a hospital bed with terrible injuries, her supposed romance with the 'hero" reads very unsavoury.


I can't swallow the bitter pill of cheating no matter the circumstances in fiction. It's worse when the cheating is romanticize.
