Okay, Harry, here is the deal. You and I are never, ever going to work out. It just wasn't meant to be. 

I honestly think that my big problem with this series is the fact that the protagonist is male and therefore I find it hard to relate to him. That and the fact that I mostly want to read about women in fiction and their struggles. 

World building was so, so. Characters where just okay to be honest. Bianca, the vampiress, read like a caricature plucked right out of a teenage boy's wet dream. The rest of the women also read flat to me and Harry... well, Harry and I just weren't meant to be. When it comes to a male protagonist I actively have to fall in love with them or I will find them annoying to the third degree.
