It was freaking awesome. I was hesitant to get this one because Hardy was the love interest and I was never, ever sure if I liked him or wanted to rot. But Kleypas made me reconsider and Hardy was a hot alpha male but in a way that didn't make me want to run for the hills.
I also loved Haven as the main character and felt her story was told with respect and in a way that shone light on domestic violence and workplace bullying. After Easy by Tammara Webber I hadn't found many other books that dealt with sticky issues such as rape, domestic violence and bullying and Kleypas really surprised me with this book, in fact I can say I learned something.
