This book is s.l.o.w. sooo s.l.o.w. The world building is okay, the characters are just about okay. I kind of got upset that Mercy is this sort of perfect baby making factory and that is why she is so very much wanted by the virile males that want to pass on their genes. It was an annoying tidbit that I know continues to roll around throughout the series. I didn't like her interactions with Adam and he was rather vanilla.
