Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2)

Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2) - Colleen Hoover It was great damn it, love Will, love Lake, love the kids, love their makeshift family.Seriously, I found the sequel a lot more entertaining than the first one mainly because of the family interaction with the kids and Will's POV being so damn funny. The things he did to get Lake to talk to him again when they fought and sort of broke up where just too funny. Poor boy was really desperate to fix things with her, and while Lake annoyed me with her refusal to make up with Will, I also understood what was happening. After all, she is a 19 year-old girl with huge stresses in her life, she is bound to be emotional and difficult at times, especially at the beginning. Their old married couple interactions where priceless and their parenting problems really got me thinking of what it takes to raise kids and how difficult it is for them to balanced out being the sibling and the parent at the same time.Overall, seriously, it was great and I usually HATE contemporary romance but this one series was really entertaining.
